Through an exciting new partnership we are now able to provide prepaid Mastercard to businesses and individuals.

The prepy card market is growing rapidly and has several benefits.  We recognise several innovative uses of these cards for home-workers and smaller organisations, and have therefore come to an arrangement with an award-winning provider of prepaid Mastercards to enable us to make these available to our clients at a preferential rate.

In its simplest form, a prepay card is just like any other Mastercard or Maestro-branded card - you can use it to pay at any buiness outlet or website that accepts cards, whether that's in the UK or abroad.  Unlike a Credit Card, however, you put money onto the card before you can spend it.  In a sense it's like topping up a 'pay as you go' mobile.  The cards are great for those with a poor credit-rating but have other excellent uses that we wish to promote to our clients.

The cards can be used for direct salary or expenses payments, and this is where we believe they come into their own.  For smaller charities/organisations, expecially those relying on home-working, they can take a lot of pressure of individuals and the central organisational structures.  Instead of your staff or volunteers shelling out from their own pocket and then waiting to get expenses back, you can now issue a pre-paid card with a preset amount of your choice and simply top it back up each time a claim is sent in.

The cards are also great for travelling, as often the costs are lower than those associated with standard bedit or credit cards.

Our prepaid Mastercards cost just £8.95, and there is also a monthly service charge of £1.  There are no transaction fees within the UK, and no charge to topup your card using BACS.  The cards can also be topped up online using another card, or at any PayZone outlet in the UK, though a small charge applies for adding credit in this way.  There is also a charge for withdrawing cash from a cash machine - by no charge for direct purchases.
